A French garden and a second English style, an extraordinary rose-rose, created in 1920, the tomb of the Rousseau Customs, on which an autograph poem of his friend Guillaume Apollinaire, a mare and his island aux ducks is engraved, La Perrine is worth a detour. There are also playgrounds and a children's ride. Finally, near the orangerie and the museum-school, is the Espace Alain Gerbault.

un charme fou
Que c'est beau et bien entretenu, de nombreux jardiniers étaient à son entretien lors de notre passage. Déjà sa situation est remarquable sur son éperon en hauteur, avec vue sur la ville et la Mayenne en contrebas, le château attenant et les quartiers piétonniers du vieux Laval juste à côté!! un ravissement ce jardin avec ses belles essences d'arbres et ses massifs de fleurs multicolores et ses terrasses herbeuses et gazonnées. A noter pour les petits une mini ferme et quelques animaux et oiseaux dans les enclos. Incontournable ce lieu si reposant. Nombreux bancs pour se poser et pas mal d'ombre pour se promener.

Un peu de hauteur!
Un peu de hauteur et de nature à deux pas du centre ville! Promenade bien agréable, avec disséminés ici et là, des statues, une roseraie, des horloges florales... Bref un endroit reposant, une balade s'y impose durant tout séjour en terre lavalloise!
