Visit the memorial to the discrimination and suffering of the victims of the Nazi concentration camp system, in Mayenne.

This memorial opened in 2012 is structured around two muséographiques spaces: the first is devoted to the duty of memory. As such, a permanent exhibition shall highlight objects brought back from the concentration camps given or put in place by the families; it also reports on the suffering of the victims of the Nazi Settlements system. The second space appears as a complementary place of the first: its aim is to alert, awaken and raise awareness on the basis of topical issues such as discrimination or racism; it also defends human rights and values of peace. More than a place of remembrance and remembrance, the Memorial is a real site of exchange, artistic expression, information and vigilance.
