L'auberge se situe dans un village retiré. Il est donc vrai que nous ne pouvons "tomber dessus par hasard" :). Il est recommandé de réserver à l'avance.
Les salles sont classiques mais propres. Le service est très convivial et rapide.
Quant aux menus ... un vrai régal.
Vous avez le choix sur un menu à 13 € (entrée, plat, salade, dessert), un autre à 20 € (2 plats, salade, dessert) et un autre, pour les très gourmands !! à 26 € (3 plats, salade, dessert). Bien sûr il y a aussi une carte.
Mon fils s'est contenté d'un plateau charcuterie (très bon jambon de bayonne, du chorizo, de la saucisse sèche, du boudin froid, de la rillette et de la mortadelle) et des profiteroles au chocolat, le tout pour 12 €. Mon autre fils a pris des cotelettes d'agneau (du beurre !!) avec une coupe fraises/glace vanille/chantilly. Mon mari a pris jambon de bayonne/melon (très sucré), un faux filet (excellent !!) et un gratin aux framboises (très copieux et très bon). Moi-même j'ai essayé la garbure (soupe traditionnelle... un délice !! A lui seul un repas !!) suivi d'une piperade aux anchois et d'un fondant griottes/chocolat (à tomber !!).
Je le recommande également, vous ne serez pas déçu :D
