These halls are considered as the most beautiful of Maine and Anjou
Built in 1509 but perfectly preserved, these halls are considered the most beautiful in Maine and Anjou and were used for the wine trade. In this area, Saint-Denis d'Anjou was a commercial crossroads. In the 19th century, phylloxera destroyed the vineyards which disappeared. But in 1998, thanks to the action of the Young Economic Chamber, 80 ares of vines (Chenin Blanc grape variety) were replanted. The north gable is made of masonry. A small warehouse was attached to it and was used to imprison Chouans .
