LA FORGE
Sometimes, "small cities of character" (Fontaine-Daniel, in this case) are entitled to a restaurant that suits them perfectly both for the beauty of the place and for the quality of the dishes on the menu. This is the case with Patrice and Claudine's establishment, La Forge, which overlooks the village pond (that's for the pleasure of the eyes!) and serves dishes that make you dream just by reading them: skimmed pumpkin, roasted langoustines with truffle oil, profiteroles of sweetbreads, beef fillet on a plancha marinated with spices, vegetables of the moment and dessert toasted bread from our grandmothers caramel ice cream salted butter. It should be noted that the restaurant was completely renovated a little over two years ago and now has two small, friendly and classy rooms for both 15 and 20 people. The establishment also has a room that can accommodate 50 people.
