LE CENTRE D’ÉTUDES ET DE RESSOURCES ARCHÉOLOGIQUES DU MAINE (CERAM PIERRE TÉROUANNE)
The Ceram Pierre Térouanne, opened in September 2009, proposes to the visitor to immerse himself in the world of archaeology. An immediate neighbour of the Gallo-Roman remains of the shrine of Mars Mullo, this centre is managed by Association. Scientists are welcomed there and the result of their research presented to the public at regular exhibitions such as "CERAM: on the sidelines of archaeology ". Educational workshops from initiation to archaeology allow classes, groups and families to discover why the study of material traces of the past is essential to writing history today. They can also take advantage of guided tours of the ancient temple located nearby and are still the subject of excavations conducted by the CNRS.
