EUCHEMA MANOR
This mansion was built in the xivth century by the powerful Couesme family, allied to the kings of France. Located in Ancinnes from the year a thousand, this family, one of the oldest in the region, went extinct in the seventeenth century. Note that the surname of the Couesme means "owner of his land". Originally, it was a manor house, an English-style construction, an architectural witness to the importance of the English presence in Upper Maine, even beyond the military. Listed hunting relay in the XVI century, he had been abandoned for decades, used as barn and handed over for agricultural equipment, when an association decided in the 1960 s to save him from ruin and restore her old chandelier. It is done. The building has restored its original vintage and retains a remarkable "English" breakage. The mansion opens a reception room and a charming guest house.
