It's not Angoulême, but Arnage organizes its own comic book fair every two years, in even-numbered years.
Comics, manga or science fiction... The Arnage Comics Festival is quite unique. In 2024, the town will host the 22nd edition of this recently biennial event. The event has all the hallmarks of a small bubble of fantasy in the Sarthe region, and is attracting an increasing number of projects in partnership with local schools. Its aim is to create a cultural encounter and, of course, to encourage young people to read, while at the same time encouraging amateur reading. Signings by authors, scriptwriters and cartoonists will be organized, as well as workshops and exhibitions. The show that's going places...
