Church dedicated to Notre-Dame, located in Chaufour-Notre-Dame, featuring a altarpiece of the Virgin Mary.
In addition to the château, the commune also boasts a remarkable heritage feature in the form of the church dedicated to Notre-Dame, dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. The nave walls and wooden vault are probably the oldest surviving elements. The building was enlarged at the beginning of the 19th century with the construction of transepts. Confiscated during the French Revolution, it was bought by Monsieur de Blanchardon de La Denisière, who donated it to the commune. One of the interior jewels is the 17th-century altarpiece of the Virgin Mary, which was not built for this church, having been purchased from Le Mans in 1750. A common phenomenon in the countryside.
