Museum presenting uniforms, documents, materials and various authentic pieces of the Second World War in Conlie.
In 1944, when he was only 16 years old, Roger Bellon witnessed the Allies fighting against the Germans in Fyé, in the north of the Sarthe. Since then, the Second World War has been his life. This museum presents more than 2,000 authentic items, including hundreds of mannequins in period clothing or uniforms! Roger Bellon has been able to highlight on two levels, documents, materials and uniforms that make the interest of this museum. He gives the guided tour himself (1h30).

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
M. Bellon était présent, nous sommes ravis d avoir rencontré cet homme très sympathique et attachant, qui nous a expliqué une part de son vécu.
Merci à lui, n hésitez pas à faire un tour dans ce musée, on en prend plein les yeux.
Finally, a word about the review here by Kristine Krowz who gave it one star based upon a total misunderstanding of this place and its creator Mr Roger Bellon. He does not and never has claimed to have been involved in the invasion of France as a paratrooper. He was too young, and that's about the only thing she got right. He remembers the events of 1944 as a 14 year old and subsequently became a paratrooper in the French Army at a later date. He does not say otherwise, anywhere.
