THE LION'S DEN
This cellar is located at the corner of the Thiers Square and the Lion alleyway, facing the old castle of the castle. It is an ancient templière crypt, a medieval chapel of the xiith century. This large square hall composed of four vaults of warheads, with a chapiteau decorated with carved foliage was used for a time as a place to preach by the Protestants. Why the lion's cellar? In the eighteenth century, while serving as a hotel for the nearby gold lion, the former chapel was named. Today, it hosts plastic art exhibitions. Guided tours.
