LAND OF ART AND HISTORY OF THE SARTHE PERCH

Every year, the Pays d'art et d'histoire du Perche Sarthois offers a new range of events to enable inhabitants and tourists to discover the heritage of the area in all its variety, from the megaliths of prehistory to contemporary architecture, including landscapes, movable objects and intangible heritage. Its competences include tourism development and the enhancement of the heritage of this territory with its rich potential. Guided tours, conferences, workshops, theme days, shows, walks or events are all ways to discover or learn more about the architectural, artistic or landscape specificities of the Sarthois Perche. The heritage specialists of the Pays d'art et d'histoire du Perche Sarthois also offer a programme of workshops on the built environment, for example wood and cob, lime coatings, natural paints, tree and hedge maintenance (plessing), the art of stained glass...

This structure is also responsible for the publication of very beautiful brochures on the heritage of towns and villages, industrial heritage, religious buildings, etc.
