Dark and nocturnal - but with stars! - for this young and pretty black storefront in the historic center of Le Mans. Why "La Nuit des temps"? Ah! it's because tattooing isn't a modern phenomenon, and its rise in the West is relatively recent compared with Maori traditions, for example... Anyway, the regulars here say NDT. This tattoo parlour is run by Ana Mady Sun, a renowned tattoo artist. Her needles and colors blend realism, floral ornamentation, ethnicity and sensitivity. Although Le Vieux Mans is her base camp, she is in demand elsewhere, and often travels with her team, drawing inspiration and stitching as she travels the world.
