If there is a restaurant you have to try in the historic heart of Mans, it is certainly the Auberge des Sept Plats. Very popular since its opening, it offers revisited recipes of the past with generous proportion: minced beef steak topped with delicious pepper sauce, a duck leg confit accompanied by fresh mushrooms or pork cheek confit seasoned with a grainy mustard. Seven starters, seven main courses... and fourteen desserts will delight your tastebuds. Moreover, we love the half-cooked chocolate cake. Besides the menu of the restaurant, the setting is also charming with exposed beams and old stone of Cité Plantagenêt.
