Michelin-starred restaurant
This is definitely an ideal setting. Set in a private house, this restaurant is as charming as it is rigorous and serious. The gravel courtyard has been laid out as a parking lot, and you can sit under the arbors or inside. Large trees shade the outdoor space, and we're set back enough from the road to forget all about it. The gourmet cuisine is of excellent quality, and the staff are all smiles. We start with a small welcome broth, tuna mignardises, pigeon liver, pumpkin seed tasting butter and homemade brioche bread. Dishes change regularly, but you'll find land and sea inspirations on the menu: squid, duet of duck and eel, wild boar, monkfish, scallops, or vegetarian dishes. All subtly crafted with original products and spicy flavors. The appetizing desserts are all the work of a pastry chef, combining taste, aesthetics and finesse.
You can accompany your meal with a 1997 Corton-Charlemagne white wine at €145 a bottle... or maybe the 2002 Cheval Noir Saint-Emilion at over €30 is more your style. To each his own budget!
