Cattle restaurant in Vieux Mans!
The latest addition to Place Saint-Pierre, the former Bistrot d'à Côté has changed, and so has the menu! From now on, you'll be offered a single menu, a Parisian-style welcome salad (lettuce, diced ham, Emmental cheese, tomatoes), which you can also replace with a small warm goat's cheese salad, or a soft-boiled egg caquelon with foie gras (delicious), on the main course, you'll have a choice of 10 different hearty dishes, so why not try a boeuf bourguignon, served in its own cocotte, or a leg of Périgord duck, served with homemade mashed potatoes or French fries to accompany your choice. To round off the menu, we'll serve you coffee with a jar of sweets. For an additional charge (from €2), desserts are available such as brown sugar crème brûlée (€4) or brioche pain perdu with vanilla ice cream (€5). The formula is simple, fast and of excellent quality. For your information, the creators of the Auberge des 7 Plats, Jean-Louis and Fabrice, run the establishment, so that says it all!
