VIGNES VINS RANDOS (VVR)
"Vignes Vins Randos" is one of the activities proposed and organized by InterLoire, the interprofessional organization for Loire Valley wines, which not only provides logistical support and technical assistance to professionals, but also enables the general public to learn about Loire wines and discover the many ways in which they can enjoy them. It was with this in mind that "Vignes Vins Randos" was created in 2004, an event which, more than 10 years later, has become an essential part of wine tourism in the Loire Valley. Against a backdrop of landscapes now listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, a gustatory stroll is programmed through the Sarthe vineyards to discover the wines. In the warmth and friendliness of a group atmosphere, on walks open to children and adults, individuals and families, hikers don't need to be hardy walkers to savor a human and sensory experience embodied in a vineyard that combines gentle living and delicious products. How does it work? Accompanied by a winegrower, you'll set off to discover nature and heritage through circuits punctuated by tastings of local dishes and wines, visits to wineries, landscape readings and various activities... The "perfect hiker's kit" will be given to you at the start to help you understand the riches you'll be crossing and taste the flavors of the terroir. An event not to be missed.
