JOURNÉES EUROPÉENNES DU PATRIMOINE
The European Heritage Days make up the great cultural rendez-vous of the return every year, aimed at all the public who, through the proposed openings and events, can discover and rediscover a rich heritage that is so close to home. The French have been actively involved in this event since 1984. With over 12 million visitors, more than 16,000 open sites and 22,000 animations, success is assured every year. It is imperative to get up early, however! The sites and animations offered during the visit testify to the richness of French and sarthois in this case: rural and archeological heritage, military or religious, literary and iconographic, maritime and fluvial, industrial and inland, industrial, public and domestic, parks and gardens… Since 1991, the Heritage Days have taken on a European dimension.
