The buildings surrounding these small medieval gardens (the Collège Saint-Pierre-la-Cour, the Royal Palace) have allowed them to be classified into historic monuments (such as the Gourdaine and Tanneries Gardens). They are separated by a staircase named bridge des Pont-Neuf, allowing access to the southern end of the city Plantagenet. On the east side, the Jacques Lorette garden offers a more calm setting: an expanse of grass, a blossoming flower and a sculpted fountain near which some benches are arranged. Before you enjoy this, continue your journey to discover the other pearls of the place. On the west side, the Pierre-de-Ronsard garden (in the heart of which a sculpture of the city) recalls typical English Gardens with its small winding alleys between the mountains. You are here in a true haven of peace: the ideal to spend without stress, and without even realising it!
