COMITÉ DÉPARTEMENTAL DE LA RANDONNÉE PÉDESTRE DE LA SARTHE

The Sarthe, with more than 113,000 ha wooded, 5,000 km of marked paths for hikers, whether on foot, bike or horse, 25 water bodies, 4,200 km of rivers and streams, all go to the discovery: walkers, fishermen, nature lovers and tourists. Many hiking trails allow you to contemplate the country's mansion, its historical remains, its parks, its rivers, its beast and its forests. Marked trails allow for several hours walking through the city and the hollow paths of the town (670 km of GR and 2200 km from PR). Le Mans Métropole and the departmental hiking committee with the assistance of IGN published a map at 1: 35,000 titled "Trail Discovery", available at the Tourist Office.
