THE PALACE OF THE BEDRIDDEN PALACE
A beautiful Renaissance hotel in Le Mans, listed as a historic monument, opposite Saint-Julien Cathedral.
The Palais du Grabatoire is the name given to the Bishopric of Le Mans, which can only be seen from the outside, as it is still occupied today by the city's bishop and several members of the clergy. It's a beautiful Renaissance hotel, located just opposite Saint-Julien cathedral and listed as a historic monument since 1927. Fortunately, it's still possible to admire it to the full and photograph its exterior facades through the entrance gate. It is open to visitors once a year, during the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days).
