MARCHÉ DES JACOBINS
A must-see market in Manceau
At the foot of Saint Julien Cathedral, three times a week, this historic market (the largest in Le Mans) attracts lovers of fresh produce. Classic market to visit preferably on Sunday, or Friday for clothes (all day) on Wednesday, it is halved. All this little world sails between narrow alleys, most often by trampling. Apart from the classic dishes that overflow fruits and vegetables, you can find raw milk, genuine fermière poultry, fresh fish, cooked dishes or organic bread. The coffees of the cafes are caught in the face of the brocaners and canopists who are filled with more or less interesting treasures and old ones. There are old furniture, paintings, old dishes or old jewelry. You are advised to park at the docks and come to your market on foot or to go to the underground car park. Also have the tram that will bring you right before the market (Jacobins Quinconces stop).
