SANDCASTLE
This magnificent Renaissance castle, classified in historic monuments, built in the sixteenth century by Jean V de Chambord, celebrated as those of his time the sweetness of life. He has the whiteness of the tuffwater and his architecture is inspired by Chambord and Azay-the-Rideau. Some remains of the old medieval castle are to be admired in the park. The exceptional Renaissance staircase, the large eighteenth century pigeon, the classified garden and the labyrinth of charmiles surrounding the castle are also good reasons to visit the place.
