COLOMBIER
In the sixteenth century, it was one of the most important foot columbians in the region and one of the many buildings that composed the hamlet of Vassé. He owned the castle of Vassé around which the village life was organized. The farmers exploited the land around, the windmill operated by the current of the Vègre allowed the grain to be molded to make flour. Each family had a wood oven to cook bread. The yacht, now owned by the municipality of Rouessé-Vassé, was renovated in the year 2000. This remarkable building with a round hat roof is open for visit on certain dates (see the Tourist Office).
