THE FLYING MAN'S MUSEUM
Jean-Claude Ragaru, a former balloon pilot, created a museum dedicated to the conquest of air in 2004. The fact that he chose Sablé is no coincidence, because it is in this commune that the first man to stealing in the history of humanity, in 1678 exactly, lived. Housed in a house of the fifteenth century (the oldest house in the city), the small museum is present in engravings, drawings and objects evoking the first flying men. You will discover the history of the aerostation with gas balloons, hot air balloons of 1783 and their evolution to the dirigibles. What to give to children, and to the larger ones.
