The cultivation and processing of hemp was the preserve of La and in particular the Saosnois where 13000 hectares of land were dedicated to it. A powerful economic factor, from farmers to weavers, hemp will allow the region to know its hours of glory in the th century before the arrival of mechanical machines and the decline of material to more modern. The house of La Rural traces this entire saga with reconstructed decorations and episodes of the hard life that workers were driving.
