COURTYARD CASTLE
At the end of a gangway, on the small road that leads from Saint-Rigomer-des-Bois to Champfleur, this castle on its ridge enjoys an exceptional panorama towards the Mancelles Alps and the Multone Forest, the forest of Tarves and the plain of Alençon. A set of buildings and terraces surrounds this eighteenth century castle built by Alexandre-Louis François de Courtilloles, the first president at the chair of Alençon. It is now the property of the Gasztowtt family that focuses on preserving this regional heritage.
