Restaurant popular with lovers of good mussels, also offering other dishes

A safe bet and a must for those who crave good mussels to escape to the seaside, without having to travel too far! Marinières, au gratin, à la plancha, with curry, Provençal style, with Roquefort... all the recipes are famous and served in good quantity at this mussel specialist. On Sundays, they're even served all-you-can-eat. If mussels aren't your cup of tea, there are other dishes on offer: tartare, rib-eye steak, carbonnade flamande, chicken with Maroilles cheese... The desserts are also up to scratch: crumble, apple crème brûlée, chocolate fondant and dizzying bowls of ice cream. Gourmets will be tempted by the farandole of desserts, but be careful not to bite off more than you can chew. However, don't be in too much of a hurry, as the (otherwise charming) staff may run in all directions, but the pace is tough!

Habitué de Leon depuis de nombreuses années, le site de Le Mans Saint saturnin est conforme à ce que j'aime trouver chez Léon, Moules frites à volonté le dimanche que du bonheur.

Service agréable et rapide, et qualité des ingrédients au rendez-vous !

but expected the second part of fried too long mussels were cold.
note the chef row another part of mould has the end but more appetite.
