Leave the village by the Route road to discover, on a limestone plateau, the oldest megalithic monument of the Vendée, the 6 000 year old Ciste des Necks. It was a funeral monument - 120 skeletons remaining in the common pit were discovered in 1920. A dolmen, disassembled, is adjacent to the ciste. For picnic or rest, push down to the edge of Lake Rochereau. If the heart tells you, a 15 km trail, marked in yellow and white, leaves the village to reach the lake by visiting the megalithic sites. The shades of the Grand Lay valley are an ideal stopover.
