A neolithic necropolis classified as a historical monument, located not far from the medieval town of Bazoges-en-Pareds
Classified as a Historical Monument, the Ciste des Cous, located not far from the medieval town of Bazoges-en-Pareds, lies on a limestone plateau at the confluence of the rivers Loing and Arkanson. It is a Neolithic necropolis: a circular chamber of about 4.50 meters in diameter, surrounded by a first wall 2.50 meters thick, a second wall of the same thickness but lower. We reach the chamber by a corridor of 5 meters long for 1 meter high. Near this cist, you will find another dolmen called the dolmen des Pierres Folles.
