Near the Grand Pont lock, in a nicely renovated barn with a garden terrace, this excellent restaurant, run by Manon and Thomas, is a wonderful discovery! The cuisine is delicate, the dishes tasty and creative, and the presentations meticulous, highlighting the local producers whose faces line the walls: confit and pressed Vendée pork belly, preceded by a soft-fried egg, red wine reduction, roasted chestnuts, Vendée ham and pan-fried mushrooms. The main menu changes every month.
