OFFICE DE TOURISME
Bret-sur-Mer tourist office, to discover information about this town with several prehistoric remains.
The commune is part of the Pays de Saint-Gilles territory. It does not directly overlook the sea but benefits from many assets in the immediate vicinity of the ocean: a situation conducive to the vineyard of Brem which produces the wines of the Fiefs Vendéens! To see several vestiges of prehistory: menhir of Crulière, called "the Devil's Stone", classified as a historical monument, as well as the Romanesque church Saint-Nicolas. Go and see the village of La Gachère, a small typical seafarers' village on the banks of the river and fish for bass and mullet on the Auzance.
