The Chaillé-les-Marais office is located in the heart of the Marais Poitevin and has been part of the Tourist Office, renamed La Vendée du Sud in 2024. It welcomes the public, as does the Maison du Maître de Digues (located on the same site), which you are invited to visit to better understand the marsh. Here, you're in the dry marshland, where you can discover the flora and fauna. Follow the nine-kilometer-long Canal des Cinq Abbés, the most famous in the Marais Poitevin.
