LES PLAGES DE LA GUERINIERE
The largest beach on the island of Noirmoutier stretches between Barbâtre and La Guérinière. This is the beach of Midi, which is 7 km long. The beaches of La Guérinière enjoy an exceptional view of the south of the island. In the shape of a soft cove, they illustrate history and heritage with the mills of the Court beach, and the blockhouses of the Canteen. As soon as the wind rises, sailors, windsurfers, sand yachts and kitesurfers have a field day. A backfill runs along the latter. At the foot of the Notre-Dame de Bon Secours residence, low tide reveals the fish locks.
