In the heart of La Guérinière, here is a small traditional and simple museum, created in 1973 following a collection of objects from the inhabitants, to preserve the heritage of local life. We discover the island life of the 19th and 20th centuries: fishing, agriculture - the cultivation of the potato -, salt marshes, crafts, accessories of daily life, costumes, headdresses, traditional furniture. The museum presents through an exhibition, the history of this island in the past.
