An art museum housed in a former school in La Roche-sur-Yon, where you can immerse yourself in the life of artists.

Since 2023, the Musée de la Roche-sur-Yon has housed works from the museum's fine arts collections in a former schoolhouse. The scenography immerses visitors in the life of 19th-century artists. Three large rooms, a gallery and a mezzanine house the permanent collections. In the spotlight are two Yonnais figures: Paul Baudry, one of the most famous representatives of academic art under the Second Empire, and Benjamin Rabier, the father of the Laughing Cow!
