Just 5 minutes from the Puy du Fou, La Belle du Fou is a great bargain for those on a tight budget. The chef concocts simple, generous home cooking around a menu of the day offered at lunchtime on weekdays, with a buffet of starters, main course and dessert. Regional specialties include prefou salad, poached eggs poitevine style, the famous pan-fried Vendée ham with mogettes, and andouillette "bout de zizi". In the evenings, menus with more elaborate dishes such as heart of hake fillet poached in beurre blanc. There are also 4 well-decorated rooms at affordable prices.

Bel rencontre des patrons très agréables souriants et bon contact. Nous y avons mangé et c' est excellent, nous étions de passage mais je retiens cette adresse car si l on revient dans le coin c'est la que je m arrêterais, je leur souhaite bonne continuation.
