Naturism is officially allowed since 1976 on the beach near the hunting reserve - Anse de la Barrique. This beach is the largest naturist beach in the Vendée. La plage de la pointe d'Arçay offre une belle balade, à partir de la plage de la Barrique, il faut toutefois avoir du temps car la balade peut vite être longue. On y trouve de nombreux coquillages et la vue est agréable, avec notamment le pont de l'ile de ré et l'ile de ré.
