Warm restaurant offering typical dishes in the pure tradition of Alsatian gastronomy.
La Metzig restaurant is set in the vault of a Gothic/Renaisssance building constructed in 1525 by the butchers society and whose splendor proves the wealth of the societies at that time. It also benefits from an exceptional setting in the town centre. Christophe Marechal and his team offers a menu of typical dishes, in the pure tradition of Alsace gastronomy: sauerkraut with five fillings, bouchee a la reine, beer brewed shank, calf's head and vinaigrette, creme brulee and homemade tart for the dessert. Tartes flambees are served for dinner. The food is classic and the prices are attractive. You will like to be seated on the terrace in summer and enjoy the bsuy historical centre.
