MUSEUM OF THE CHARTREUSE AND THE BUGATTI FOUNDATION
Museum retracing the history of Molsheim and the Bruche valley, from prehistory to the present day, with a wealth of objects
The collections evoke the history of the Bruche Valley. The same premises are home to the Bugatti Foundation, which perpetuates the memory of carmaker Ettore Bugatti (1881-1947), creator of the factory set up on the outskirts of the town in 1909, through the presentation of cars, unusual objects and numerous documents. The tour continues outside with a visit to the monastery buildings, including three Carthusian monks' cells that have been restored to their original furnishings!
