CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF HOPE
Chapel frequented by sailors to ask for the protection of the Holy Madonna, with ogival door and gothic bells.
Built in the 19th century to house the statue of the Virgin, the figurehead of the ship belonging to Flandrine de Nassau, abbess of Sainte-Croix de Poitiers, carried away by the waves. A small architectural gem with its Gothic bell towers and its ogival door. It was a holy place very frequented by sailors who came there to pray and ask for the protection of the Holy Madonna. Not far from here, don't miss the beautiful villa at the corner of rue Travot and Remblai.
