Market located in the heart of the city, gathers on two floors, about 65 merchants and small local producers
Between the fishing port and the embankment, near the church, Les Halles were built on the former small cemetery of Les Sables-d'Olonne, the first halls date from 1810. The building was inaugurated in 1890. Conceived by the Sables architect Charles Smolski, the iron, brick and glass frame is inspired by Parisian models, and recalls the style of the Baltard pavilion. They were renovated in 1990, on the occasion of their centenary. Located in the heart of the city, the two-storey market brings together around 65 local merchants and small producers.
