Inaugurated in 1964, this museum of modern and contemporary art is housed in a building listed as a Historic Monument. Founded in 1622, the Sainte-Croix priory houses a collection of works by Gaston Chaissac and Victor Brauner, divided into permanent and temporary exhibition rooms. The collection includes important works by Albert Marquet, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Magnelli, Max Beckmann... The MASC offers guided tours, conferences and events.

The collection Gaston Chaissac is really impressive. The museum is also interesting architecture of its building. You absolutely must go in the attic, you could think you were in the hull of a boat in back! Just next door, the public library is a pleasant place to read and read the newspapers.
