The Carmelite convent in Luçon was founded in 1847, near the cathedral. A Carmelite community has lived there since that time. The monastic buildings, classical and sober, made of local stone, were built between 1847 and 1858. The cloisters, restored in 2013-2014, offer a beautiful space of light and peace. A few rooms and a small oratory located at the reception of the monastery, allow to receive retreatants or women in search of spirituality. For a monastic and spartan stay in search of peace for women.

Belle retraite spirituelle vécue en ce lieu calme, sur 4 jours avec repas et hébergement ! Chapelle isolée du froid extérieur par un sas vitré efficace ce qui rend l,oraison silencieuse possible et agréable !! Ici, nous vivons au rythme des 18 carmélites (prières, messe) : Joie du ressourcement garantis !
Entretien personnel possible avec la prieure dans le grand parloir !
