Garden as visited as the cathedral, quoted among the most beautiful gardens of France, benefiting from sculptures, fountains...
As visited as the cathedral, this garden, cited among the most beautiful gardens in France, bears the name of the man who bequeathed it to the city in 1872. The avenue of hundred-year-old yew trees trimmed in a pyramid shape leading to a small grove, the green theatre, the topiaries depicting the Fables of La Fontaine, the ponds, the bandstand, the beautiful wrought iron gates form a pleasant ensemble on more than 4 hectares. Other remarkable elements: statue, sculpture, bridge, fountain, waterfall, grotto, nymphs. In summer, it hosts many daytime and nighttime events.
