THE PARC DES ROCHETTES
Visit Parc des Rochettes, a park in the heart of the town of Montaigu, home to century-old trees.
Designed in the 19th century in the tradition of English gardens around a small manor house (now the Maison des Rochettes) and the Calliopé media library, the 11-hectare Parc des Rochettes is home to century-old trees, some of which - cedars of Lebanon, Chinese palms, truffle oaks and redwoods - are true masterpieces of nature. Situated in the heart of the town of Montaigu, the park offers numerous picnic tables on the banks of the River Maine. A children's playground is also available. Ideal for a stroll.
