RAMBOURG MILL
A water mill where the wheel is the engine, the millstream is the reservoir and the water is the energy
The Rambourg mill is a water mill where the wheel is the engine, the millstream is the reservoir and the water is the energy. It dates from the first half of the 20th century. It is the only survivor of the 40 water mills of the Yon. It is a mill known as "à reprise" because the grain went through the machines several times to obtain the flour. The last miller ceased all activity in 1981, making the park a popular place for walking or mountain biking, fishing and from April to the end of September, you can go canoeing (information at the campsite).
