Just like the elephant cemetery, there's also a boat cemetery! It's located in Noirmoutier-en-l'Île's yachting harbor, l'anse de Luzan, between the Boucaut district and the mouth of the Etiers de l'Arceau and des Coefs. An unusual and discreet spot, much sought-after by photographers and painters alike. It has the charm of a very special place. This is where boats of all kinds end their lives, from makeshift wooden craft to small fishing boats, and even a catamaran. From this southern bank of the channel, just behind the boat wrecks, you can see the Château de Noirmoutier and the church of Saint-Philbert
