LA SPIRULINE DE FINFARINE
Finfarine Spiruline is an aquaculture farm located in Poiroux, Vendée. Spirulina specialist Barbara Remond heads up the farm. Spirulina is an organism invisible to the naked eye that requires heat and sunlight to develop, making it an ideal food for the Vendée Littorale. The farm has a 750 m2 greenhouse that protects the 400 m2 of ponds. Since 2019, Barbara has been growing a non-GMO strain of spirulina using farming methods that respect consumers, the grower, spirulina and the environment. Outside this period, appointments are recommended. A free spirulina tasting is offered during visits.
