Fleury Michon is one of the masters of the French agri-food industry. The company specializes in the production and marketing of meat products: Ham, raw ham, white chicken, duck foam, pork roast… Part of its range is certified Red Label.
History. Fleury Michon is the story of a family business that has grown from generation to generation. In 1905, two brothers-in-law, Félix Fleury and Lucien Michon, decided to associate themselves and settle in Vendée. In 1926, the second generation - Pierre Fleury and Gustave Michon - revived the activity and laid down the company's legal status by assembling their names. In 1934, they launched meat and salt activities. In the 1950 s and 1960 s, the third generation industrializes society, and in the 1980 s, the fourth generation developed self-service and fresh produce. In 2008, the fifth generation, in the person of Yves Gonnord, focused on international openness.
The products. In addition to charcuterie, Fleury Michon produces surimi in sticks and fish steaks, cooked dishes (tagliatelles to carbonara, blue cord, mustard chicken…), as well as sandwiches.
Employment. Fleury Michon has fifteen production sites including eight in France and has 3,805 employees in the Hexagone. It has an annual turnover of € 737.8 million.
